supports, the serpentine-fronted base with three
drawers, on bracket feet, 2ft. lOin. high by lft. 4′/2in. wide
(80cm. by 42cm.) circa 1790, distressed.
A COPPER KETTLE of oval shape with brass
mounts, 8′/zin. high (21.5cm.) late 19th Century; and a
wrought-iron Trivet with scrollwork platform, turned
wood handle and hooks to attach it to a grate, lft. 3′/2in.

the quarter-veneered, crossbanded top with a moulded
edge above two short and three graduated long drawers
with a long drawer in the base, on spirally-turned legs
and bun feet joined by a wavy stretcher, 4ft. 2in. high by
3ft. 3′Ain. wide (163cm. by 100cm.) circa 1690, stand
restored.
A WILLIAM AND MARY OYSTER-VENEERED WALNUT
TABLE, the moulded hinged top with a large sunburst
within a broad crossbanding and enclosing an inner
hinged glazed panel, the frieze with a drawer and raised
on spiral-twist walnut legs joined by wavy stretchers,
2ft. 4in. high by 2ft. lVhin. wide (71cm. by 90cm.) circa
1690, interior re-modelled, part of frieze probably
re-veneered.
A WILLIAM AND MARY WALNUT-VENEERED CHEST
of two short and three long drawers, the moulded top
with a broad crossbanding, with quarter-veneered
drawers, on bun feet, 2ft. Hin. high by 3ft. 2in. wide
(89cm. by 96cm.) circa 1690.
A WILLIAM AND MARY WALNUT CHEST ON STAND
with rectangular moulded top, a cushion frieze drawer
and three short and three long drawers with feather-
banded panels, the stand with one shallow and two deep
drawers above a shaped apron, on turned tapering legs
joined by a waved stretcher, on bun feet, 5ft. lin. high
by 3ft. wide (155cm. by 100cm.) circa 1695, legs and
stretchers replaced.
A WILLIAM AND MARY WALNUT CHEST ON STAND with veneered
crossbanded top and two short and three graduated long drawers, with a
long drawer in the base, on bulbous ring-turned feet, 4ft. 2V2in. high by 3ft. 6in. wide (128cm. by
107cm.) circa 1700, later legs.
A WILLIAM AND MARY BLACK-JAPANNED SIDE
TABLE, the top decorated with figures in a landscape,
with a frieze drawer and ringed cup and cover legs
joined by an X-stretcher, on bun feet, 2ft. 5in. high by 3ft.
IViin. wide (74cm. by 95cm.) circa 1700, stretcher and
bun feet restored.
A GEORGE II MAHOGANY BACHELOR’S CHEST, of
rare and unusual form, the hinged top with two lopers
flanking the frieze set with four dummy drawers above
nine short drawers, with two shallow drawers at each
side and brass handles, on bracket feet, 2ft. 6l/2in. high by
3ft. (78cm. by 91cm.) circa 1740.
ANOTHER, similar but smaller, with figures in landscape
on an olive green ground, 2ft. 4′/2in. high by 2ft 7l/2in. wide (72cm. by 80cm) circa 1700.
A GEORGE II PROVINCIAL WALNUT CORNER ARMCHAIR, the curved toprail
centred by a shell, with two piain tapering splats and turned arm supports,
with drop-in seat and cabriole front leg headed by a scallop-shell and ending in claw and ball feet,
circa 1740.
A WILLIAM AND MARY BURR-WALNUT WALL MIRROR,
the bevelled plate within a moulded frame, 2ft. 6in.
high by 2ft. Vhin. wide (76.5cm. by 65cm.) circa 1680.
